To God all praise and glory!
December was a season of celebration and reflection.
God has done great things and for that, we are thankful.
This theme of everlasting joy crowning the heads of the redeemed is
scattered throughout scripture. This is a theme, I held onto during the month of December.
Jesus is the crowning our heads with joy.
The ills of the world fade away at the Name of Jesus. Jesus is so amazing!
He is the main character in the story. I am blessed I get the opportunity to join His work.
I get to see Him crown His children with His Spirit and I get to see Him transform people in
His glory.
This will be a time of reflection.
TNT
We had our last Thursday Night Thunder of the semester!
We had our Christmas party celebrating our students’ cultural backgrounds.
We encouraged people to come in cultural attire. It was more of a potluck, where we had the
opportunity to eat different dishes cooked by our students. Although we come from different
backgrounds, Jesus unites us all. We are all becoming part of this new body.
This TNT was really life-giving.

End of the Semester Leader Meeting
We had a celebration dinner for our last leader meeting of the semester.
We had a time of encouragement and reflection. We were able to share about each other.
It truly was a time to build each other up. Also, we said farewell to Kendall.
He transferred to Prairie View A&M. We are so excited for what God is going to do in
His life as he starts classes. We truly are going to miss seeing him regularly.

Sermon Assignment

During this month, I had to prepare for a testimonial sermon that I was giving to the FOCUS staff.
All the apprentices were giving a sermon to the FOCUS staff. It was a blessing and a challenge
reflecting on my God’s actions in my life. I had to revisit some memories, but I also got to reflect
on the mercies God has given me throughout my life. This was something truly amazing.
I received encouraging feedback. It was such a blessing getting to hear the apprentices speak.

My friend/supporter, Garvin Williams, hosted a Christmas Showcase. He has done it for three years and I was able to participate again! I have always led an original song and I was able to share two songs. I had a Reni, Jacob, and Jonathan from Richland helping me. I had a handful of other friends and Valentin from UTA helping me out. It was such a blast and it was a neat opportunity getting to play two original songs.
